Trefriw Trails

Early evening is a lovely time to go for a walk, and I often walk Trefriw trails no.2, which goes down Gower’s Road to the suspension footbridge over the River Conwy,

then follows the flood banks around to the confluence of the Conwy and the Crafnant.  There are delightful views of the valley in both directions, and as you approach Trefriw again along the banks of the Crafnant, the village is lit by the evening sun.  If I have a companion, there is the opportunity to pop in for a pint at the Old Ship, which has a beer garden along the opposite side of the river bank – a great finish to the walk!
